    There’s one thing I learned while wrangling tortoises and that’s the fact that tortoises don’t get pregnant, they lay eggs and they only get pregnant if they mate with a male tortoise which doesn’t seem to have been possible, so I suspect Torty’s owner is insane. If it’s been cold there in Indiana, Torty might be hunkering down. They should look around the base of trees or if there are ditches, look there and hope that there’s no standing water in them.
