The sickly smell of hempseed boiling is wafting up the stairs so I’ll keep this short before dashing out into the garden for some fresh air.

Blogger gets a fabulous new makeover. Comments are now included. But read Lyle and Diamond Geezer first.
Talking of makeovers, did anyone see Queer Eye for a Straight Guy, the UK version? Same format but cheekier would be my verdict. Definitely more swearing and more obvious innuendo, I doubt that it will be shown unedited in the States. And it seems that this was the second attempt:
NBC, Scout Productions, and the network behind the UK spin-off of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy “halted production saying the show needed to be more like the American version,” the Guardian reports. Production company Making Time lost about £500,000 of Living TV’s money working on the two rejected episodes; now, Via Digital will pick up production. The show will now debut in April, not January. The channel said they “wanted to try to get a balance between the American format and the British attitude. It is quite a challenging cultural translation.”

Things I’ve been thinking about while unable to blog
- Even in the interests of fair and balanced reporting, trying to find good things to write about George Bush and his cohorts is
not easyfecking impossible. - The human race sucks. Big time.
- Being a very private person has always been a very comfortable state to be in. Except when you need to actually talk about things, you’re out of practice.
- Should generosity have limits? Does there come a time when you have to say “no”?
- Grief is not limited to mourning a loved one’s death.
- I don’t think PMS is meant to last for five long months.

I’m sure their knees can’t be all that dirty, can they Briggy?
No, not everyone Richard. Now I’m feeling all small and ashamed of myself. Amazing what a long dog walk in the warm sunshine can do. She says, dismissively, pretending nothing’s been said and cursing herself for not deleting it immediately.

..regarding point one…I am finding it harder and harder to think of anything constructive to say about *any* politician…last night on “dead ringers” they were already making jokes about the “torturism” (sic) and it is at this point that I realised that it is because no-one cares any more, it’s a whole fantasy world to these people and it appears that the rest ot the world (sucking or non-sucking) have just about given up the ghost as well..
…or maybe I’m just on a downer at the moment, maybe I’m suffering from not having pms :^)…

Aw, PMT/S sucks. My PMT got better when I started to live on my own, and not with 2 men! Lush used to do a bath bubble slice that was supposed to help PMT, not sure how much it worked but it was nice to have a very bubbly and smelly bath.
PMS isn’t meant to last for 5 months and genorosity does indeed have limits, I no longer talk to a girl who sucked the life out of mine, and that was being generous with emotional support, not material goods.
Hope you feel better soon and if you think you are depressed go and see a doctor. :-)

Thanks for the great links. You have a fun (and beautiful) site. I just spent lots of quality time with Andy Foulds.
Seriously–if it lasts for 5 months, it ain’t PMS. It’s hard to do, but check with a doc. You shouldn’t have to feel that way!
