Ghostly filming

A friend of ours has a son in university, Michel. He’s had a wonderful summer working for one of France’s top ad agencies as a “runner” during the filming of two new car adverts. The second ad, however, is not being released because when filming was finished they noticed something moving along the side of the car, like a ghostly white mist. The production team, Michel included, were scared out of their wits. He’s thinking about taking a year out before going back to uni, the effect on him was so great.

Watch it for yourselves – about halfway through you’ll see the white mist crossing in front of the car then following it along the film. Opinion is divided 50/50 as to the form the mist is taking.

Notes:

(1) Apologies for the size of this film (3.47mb) but he tried lower resolutions and you can’t see the detail;

(2) It’s worth putting sound on to hear the director’s whispered commentary about halfway through.

Anyway, here’s the film.

    It took a long time, but it finally did run. OK…I always know what you’re up to and despite that, you catch me every single time.

    Thank you Michael, nice to know I have company in mischief. I’ve taken the liberty of slightly editing your comment so that it’s a clickable link. Folks are more likely to try the um, “spot the difference” then…
