I am nearly always polite to cold calling telesales people (I did a week of it once while between jobs but gave up ~~once I’d covered all the Welsh surnames in the phonebook~~ because it was just too soul destroying) but this new habit of hanging up on victims is driving me mad. How dare they interrupt my day and then hang up when I won’t play ball?
