Nice Town
Did anyone else watch a series called Nice Town back in the early nineties? It’s just that I’ve never met anyone who’s seen it.
Meanwhile, here’s the lovely little Pencil Animation #1.
And a little silliness to end the day – Build a Better Bush [via Presurfer and Tikkel.nl].
That’s it, I’m off to finish Phil Whitaker’s The Face. Excellent and very different to Eclipse of the Sun (one of the most enjoyable books I’ve ever read).
Goede nacht allemaal.

That’s why I’m rushing to finish it – I’m hoping Martyn will read it over the weekend ready for you to take with you on the flight next week ;-0))

I not only watched it, enjoyed it and remember it :) Here’s a few more how about Mother Love or Google Eyes (reminded about that one as Honeysuckle Weeks is in the awesome Foyle’s War).
Hhmmm obscure telly progs and films I have no problem in recalling but for all the tea in China I can’t muster more than the faintest memories from my geology degree…. Perhaps too many pints of boddingtons????

Welcome kindred spirit! Oh and Goggle Eyes was brilliant too. Funnily enough, I’ve just watched lovely Alun Armstrong in a new drama by Tony Grounds:
When I’m 64
Drama about a retired teacher who strikes up an unlikely friendship with an ageing cabbie. Together, the pair realise that retirement has presented them with the opportunity to recapture the dreams of youth — but their new lease of life is threatened by the younger generation. Alun Armstrong, Paul Freeman, Tamzin Outhwaite and Jason Flemyng star.
One of the best things on telly this year, I’m betting it’s going to be popular come the Baftas.
Re Boddingtons – I couldn’t possibly comment ;-)

I think my ma is taping this for my New Year visit to Blighty :)
