Busy bee
Busy as busy can be so a few links and then it’s back to the grindstone.
To rip or not to rip [via chocolate and vodka]
From the inbox - I love getting surprise emails with good links, this one’s from Jeff. Gloovie allows you to upload your digital photos and they make a cartoon with one of the heads in it. I’ll investigate it properly later but I think some fun could be had with this one. [Update: looks like some of the animations are “free for a limited time” so might be an idea to get in there quickly if you’re interested.]

Here’s a good idea - BlogBites displays snippets of (English language) blogs with links to go read the remaining post. Kind of similar to WebNymph but a smaller and different set of sources.
“With friends like these…” silly car prank
One of my favourite jokes:
A dog goes into a hardware store and says: “I’d like a job please”.
The hardware store owner says: “We don’t hire dogs, why don’t you go join the circus?”
The dog replies: “Well, what would the circus want with a plumber”.
Blodwyn is getting on in years when her husband dies. She is so beside herself she decides she must commit suicide. So she goes and gets her late husband’s shotgun and decides the quickest way to die would be to shoot herself in the heart. Unfortunately, she’s getting a little bit confused and doesn’t quite know where her heart is, so she makes an appointment to see her doctor the next day. Upon arrival, she takes a seat, and after a quick check up from her doctor, she asks, “Doctor, where is the heart on an 85 year old woman?’ ‘Just below the left breast’ replied the doctor. The next day Blodwyn is admitted to hospital with a gunshot wound to her left knee….
