Your chance to “vote” in the US election

Global Vote 2004:

Even if you are not a US citizen, drug the November 2 presidential election will have a huge impact on your life. The very idea of democracy requires that you should have a say in choosing who determines your destiny. This site therefore allows non-Americans to vote in the 2004 US presidential election.

GLOBALVOTE2004.ORG is totally neutral. You may vote for any candidate. Your vote will be kept secret. And you may only vote once.We will count the votes 48 hours before the election and submit the result to the US media. Just letting US citizens know how the world has voted could influence what looks like a tight race.

If US politicians and their masters in corporate America continue to act as an unregulated world police force while ignoring the troubles in their own backyard, then by 2008 I wonder if the rest of the world will be demanding that the vote be for real.

Thanks for this. 2008 seems to many years for the world to wait me thinks but then I suppose I hope we are still in a position to be able to hope by then. Being old enough to remember the Bay of Pigs and the ‘joys’ of nuclear stand off in the cold war I have to say that I have a deeper sense of dis-ease at this time than then and that is REALLY scary. However, the joys of human heart and mind is concentrated in my life so thanks for many a time making me laugh out loud, smile and think positively when I read your blog.
