Household economics

Those of you lucky enough to have pets in the household will know how much it costs to keep the little dears. There’s the food, the toys, the vet bills, the furniture damage, the chewed-to-bits shoes…

So how about finding ways to get the little critters to earn their keep in some way? They could help out with the washing up, the weekly food shop, transportation. Heck, we could even turn the tables on them in the footwear department.

So – any ideas on how to get the best value out of a german shepherd and a terrier?

[The pictures came in by email, just realised that they all come from the excellent Worth 1000. Just spotted the “stupid protests” entries. Brilliant.]

If they could make a pot of tea every now and then I’d be happy ;-0) Um, is that a new blog I spy Rose? Is there such a term as “serial blogger”? Heh. Will be round to visit tomorrow, it’s 3:30 a.m. here and I’m off to my bed.

My Wonderdog, Gus, would be happy to help out on the home economics front, as long as he could get paid for lying in the sun, snoozing, and occasionally barking at the passing cars.

    I guess I am a serial blogger… It’s a very melancholy blog.
