BBC Question Time

This week’s special US election debate will be held in Miami. The panellists:

Michael Moore (campaigner; director of Fahrenheit 9/11 and Bowling for Columbine)
David Frum (ex-speechwriter for George W. Bush)
Sidney Blumenthal (ex-White House adviser to President Bill Clinton)
Richard Littlejohn (columnist for The Sun)
Lida Rodriguez-Taseff (chair of the Miami-Dade Electoral Reform Commission)

BBC 1 tonight [Thursday 28 October 2004] at 22:45 BST. Bring your own popcorn, this could be cracking television.

For those who have access to BBC World: this special edition of Question Time USA will also be screened on BBC World on Saturday 30 October at 08:10, 14:10, 21:10 GMT and again on Sunday 31 Oct at 18:10 GMT.

UPDATE: The video is now available on the BBC website. Good old auntie beeb. I can sit and swear at Littlejohn over and over again.

anan, there’s a saucy riposte hovering on my lips (fingertips?) but I shall refrain…

I was just going to suggest that we get together via IM while it’s being broadcast and hurl insults and abuse around but only those with access to BBC1 could join in for the “first sitting” and those with access to BBC World for the second sitting. What a shame.

Oh and I’ve just realised that the computer is upstairs and the tv downstairs…

i think you have to give up one of your frontal lobes to acquire that smile, love. Not just tickle it a little.

hinting at the whipped cream joke without delivering the lines?

The audience were more definitely more vocal but it seemed to be a 50/50 split between those cheering for pro Kerry views and pro Bush views from the panel. Did you all get that impression?

    p.s. Thank you briggy :-0))
