Once upon a time in a farm near Limerick…
…I took some photos of Sherman the horse.
One kind photographer / writer + one competition + one much cherished prize = happy birthday to a soon to be two year old granddaughter.
Thank you Andre.

oooh! Congrats, Daisy; and good choice for a prize! Your grandchild must be going through the obligatory ‘princess bed’ stage?

Will you tell your grandchild that uncle Andre brought it?

Hmm, well that would involve revealing the blog and um…

*blush* thanks briggy. We had a wonderful holiday in Ireland about 8? years ago where we rented a cottage on a farm for the first week and spent the second week touring Wexford, etc. staying in guest houses. The stables were next to the cottage so each morning I’d go out and say good morning to all the horses and dogs before leaving to spend the day in Limerick while Martyn went off fishing. One of the best holidays we’ve ever had and I can’t wait to go back.
