Having cleaned upstairs, I’m now having fun with an ironing board and a large pile of sheets. How about you?

Ironing your sheets, eh? That reminds of the advice that my husband’s aunt gave me before we were married. She told me not to get in the habit of ironing my rags, because I’d never be able to stop!!
I pass this on to you in case that was the next item on your “to do” list. Wrinkled rags are okay.

I know it’s not strictly necessary but we had family staying until Christmas Eve so I threw a big load in the machine and put them out on the line to dry for an hour. Hmm, they’re not getting very dry. So I’ve ironed and folded them and they look so pretty sitting on a shelf in the airing cupboard!

I was stunned, yes stunned at sheets being ironed. Nothing that has to be ironed or dry cleaned may enter my house. Very strict rule.

Ironing sheets…hmm….
All that gets ironed around here are my man’s work shirts. And he doesn’t think they need it. Silly man.
