Phew

Isn’t January a long bloody month? Roll on February.

Now, I’ve a stack of them thar links to get through so on to business:

How about a quick and easy way of testing a piece of text in a variety of fonts? Try DaFont [interface also available in French]. You enter the text and then scroll through pages and pages of that text in the various fonts. Excellent idea. I quite like the Grimswade font, maybe add a splash of colour and use it as a banner? Via bleu blanc blog, who’s looking for logo ideas, if anyone has any ideas.

Post Secret [via grumpy@] is a good idea –

You are invited to anonymously contribute a secret to the PostSecret project. Your secret can be a regret, fear, betrayal, desire, feeling, confession, or childhood humiliation. Reveal anything – as long as it is true and you have never shared it with anyone before.

And how about Silly Blog Songs from Cousin Lucy’s Spoon? Or the search for a wackily named wine?

GMail Drive is a “Shell Namespace Extension that creates a virtual filesystem around your Google GMail account, allowing you to use GMail as a storage medium”. There’s tidy.
