just a note, dear... someone has taken my name and blog address (the same day i took mine down!) and so the link to the right there goes to someone else's work, not mine. Just thought i'd let you know.

Oh anan, I thought it was one of your reinventions! How can this happen? Have you contacted Blogger?

Hmm, did you delete everything? I think this might be valid under the Blogger T&C. How strange that someone would pick the sisteranan name so quickly. It's worth leaving a comment for the new user to see if (s)he will choose another name. In fact, that's the first thing I'd do I think.

It's happened to other people and althought the circumstances are very different, I think it's still worth contacting blogger, saying that you deleted all your posts, intending to start posting again but within 24? 48? hours someone had snapped up your user name.

Does anyone else have any advice?

p.s. Failing that, sister-anan.blogspot.com seems to be free if you're interested.

Thanks, Daisy. I've contacted both Blogger and the new sister anan (!)... who has visited my old site, oddly enuf... The thing that concerns me most is that people have links to something they think is one thing when it's actually another...

thanks again. Sorry to hog the comment box.
