Um

No, I don’t quite know what happened either.
I didn’t mean to stop. Really. Been busy at work and at home but that’s never been a problem before. It was just a feeling of overwhelmedness (is that a word?) and a little bit of depression. Okay, a lot of depression. Then I checked my emails (3421 of ‘em, thank goodness for spam filters) to find your lovely messages and comments. Thank you isn’t enough and I’ll try and reply to everyone this weekend but part of the problem is the inability to communicate so forgive me if I don’t answer immediately.
But I’m coming out of my hidey hole and things should get back to normal very soon.
In the meantime, here’s a glimpse of what would happen if men wrote advice columns [safe for work but not for the easily shocked and under fourteens].

Thank God Daisy is back. We were all just wandering around out there with absolutely no direction. Hope you feel better very soon - you are extremely valuable.

I know that feeling. Glad you’re back.

Just glad it wasn’t the bomb shelter with the jammed door and you inside, that is a real bu**er and does nothing for the nails darling. Just be gentle on you and we’ll all be smiling.

Darn good thing you showed up–I can call off the dogs now. Never worry about your readers, we’ll always wait patiently if you need a bit of time to retrench.

Glad you are ok, but on a selfish level, at least it’s a few less posts for me to catch up with now I’m back from hols!

Hoorah, Daisy’s back! Don’t know about “get back to normal”, though. Who wants “normal”?
Take care.

Sending you a big hug, just because.
Hang in there. We’re not going anywhere,
we’ll continue to check in here and
we’ll be here when you return!

I think we all need to fade in and out of the blog continuum from time to time. Congratulations on remaining abnormal. ;)

Daisy, Daisy - your archives are gone. I’m worried. I’m scared. If there is anything, anything at all I can do, I will. If you need a wee little holdiay, come and visit. I will feed you and sit you out in the garden to heal.

Breathe deep, my friend, the world is still good. Thanks for the check-in to let us know you are still fighting the good fight. I think it’s obvious by now that you are loved, and that the friendship and support you lend out so freely to others is reciprocated.
Take care, love.
I’m just an email away if you want to talk.

Hello, well I am no stranger to depression, been battling it my whole life. And I know that it is hard to sometimes see beyond the dark clouds. But let me pass on a tip that sometimes helps me if I may. I breathe a deep breath in and a deep breath out and then I think of the silliest word I can *My favorite is Amok, looks funny sounds funny* and for the remainder of the day everything is called that word. “I’m having amok soup.” “I’m going to take an amok” “Oh, look the amok has amoked upon the amok” and eventually you can’t help but laugh as you begin to think of even more things to use your word on. “Damn that President Amok! He has run amok one too many times!” See, boom boom aint it great to be silly.
