I didn’t mean it, honest

It’s a rugby fest chez Daisy today – England v Manu Samoa, Wales v Australia and finally France v South Africa. A perfect activity for a cold but *sob* snow-free day in Surrey.

It’s very strange to see Wales play in the new black strip. Apparently it’s to celebrate 125 years of Welsh rugby. The more cynical among us would view it more as a money making exercise by the WRU. But I’m feeling a little bit like Blue Witch at the moment, having one of her spells gone wrong. Because on more than one occasion in the past I’ve jokingly said that I wished we wore something more like the sexy black New Zealand strip or the lovely colours of the Springboks.

I’m sorry, please bring back the red.

watching the punch up at the england samoa match on the highlights – nearly as bad as watching league!

*hem* I’m with you on the sexy new zealand strip. nearly knocked myself out on the cross trainer at the gym last week, not looking at my screen telling me that i was about to go stepping in reverse as my eyes were inexplicably drawn to the right watching the very lovely NZ men in black giving our england boys a whoopin!

*glows with Welsh pride at Mary’s comment*

Woman, thank you! Have emailed you separately with a punning clan ;-)

Felicity, it was a good punch up wasn’t it? Bless. There really is something *gulp* remarkable about those tight black strips that brings tears to a girl’s eyes – and I don’t mean the step machine in reverse ;-)

Oh god yes, bring back the red – it’s so distinctive: Welsh through and through. You can’t go changing things like this. It’d be like putting our boys in the north in red instead of navy. It’s just not right!!

(Can I glow with a half-share of Welsh pride at Mary’s comment? Pleeeeese?)

Guess there is much rejoicing in your house after Wales’ victory. Off course you can glow :-)

Oh, so that’s why they were wearing black…

    Anyway, congrats to Wales!

PS, I know I’m completely biased of course, but I’d just like to say the ABs are the sexiest rugby team on the planet!
