It’s not yet Friday but…
A couple of timewasters for all you slackers out there:
The object of the game is to move the red block around without getting hit by the blue blocks or touching the black walls. If you can go longer than 22 seconds you are phenomenal. Reportedly, the US Air Force uses this for fighter pilots. They are expected to go for at least 2 minutes.
So my 0.411 seconds ain’t gonna cut it then?
Quail hunting school for Dickie
“in honor of VP Dick’s hunting “accident”. OBJECTIVE: Shoot 10 quail without shooting Harry and you get a Certificate of Completion that you can print.
Or just shoot the crap out of Harry.”
How about a couple of neat ideas for laptop owners:
From Engadget, the clever little StashCard turns unused card slots into storage bins - “a secret drawer for your laptop!”.
Rather keep your toilet paper where it belongs? How about the AVerTV CardBus (not such a catchy name eh?):
… a PCMCIA TV tuner card that converts your laptop computer into a TV/PVR. It is equipped with the AVerTV PVR application so that you can watch, pause and record live TV. The convenient time shifting feature also lets you replay your favorite television moments over and over again.
So I’m wondering:
1. What would you store in your StashCard?
2. Which one tv or film moment would you like to be able to replay over and over again?

13.609 seconds. I refuse to get sucked into this for any longer! ;)

I’d keep my magnet collection in the stashcard. And my favorite movie moment…the oh so sad funneral in 4 Weddings and a Funneral when Matthew quotes Auden….that or Mel Gibson’s ass shot in Braveheart.

*wags finger at Karan* - just in case you come across this entry via a search engine - DO NOT STORE MAGNETS CLOSE TO A COMPUTER!
Haven’t seen Braveheart and I think I could go to my grave not regretting it but oh yes, there are quite a few scenes in 4W+AF that could qualify.
How about the scene where Tom Hanks and his boss play the piano in FAO Schwarz in the film Big? Or the Juliet Stevenson/Alan Rickman “The Sun Ain’t Gonna Shine Anymore” duet in Truly Madly Deeply?

I have to put Truly Madly Deeply on my Netflix queue now that I know Alan Rickman is in it.

23.825 seconds… Does that mean I qualify to fly a Sopwith Camel?
