The couch potato test

Karan is ‘fessing up to her CPS (couch potato status) via a meme from Lester.

The brief: Here’s a list of televsion shows, bold all the shows which you have seen at least 3 episodes.

Additions: I’ve added a few British and Australian ones for a slightly more international flavour. Oh and I threw in NYPD Blue and Starsky & Hutch so that I had a few more boldings. I was starting to feel like a freak. Feel free to add your own if you‘re bored and want to take part.

Is Monk available there? I think you would like it – not so much for the stories but the character of Monk played by Tony Shalhoub. I think he’s one of the best characters on tv. I wish I liked the detective show genre better.

P.S. I love Frasier too, especially Niles.

Nancy, I’ve heard Monk mentioned on a UK based forum where people *ahem* acquire these things but it’s not been aired over here yet. But it does look good so I’ll keep an eye out for it.

Oh I’ve thought of three more I should add to the list: Medium, Weeds and The Good Life.

I would have to add Medium to my list of watched tv shows too and yes, Monk is great.

Solonor, I know, I blush! But I have a rule to not watch more than 3 hours telly a week – easy peasy, there’s barely enough to fill that 3 hours… except (a) when the rugby season is in full swing and (b) when Channel 4 decide to suddenly show all 3 series (10, 11, 12) of NYPD Blue back to back on late night tv every weeknight for months on end. (They bought them years back but have been hiding them! But that’s a whole other rant…

Karan, this Tuesday we get the Medium episode with Kelsey Grammar as Death – yippeee!

Ooh, this is a fun meme! I will post my list once I feel better (I seem to have caught a summer cold, just in time for my vacation!).
