I might try it. There are so many traditions from your country that I don't know about, but love to try. I do think waiting until Dec 18th is a great idea - lots of fun packed into a shorter period of time. The way it is now, it seems to be dragged out for so long that I am pleased when it is over. Come closer... yes, that's it. You see, Santa doesn't really come down the chimney any more. He spent so much time every Christmas Eve unblocking and you know how frisky those reindeer get when they're kept waiting. So he has a new way of coming into your home to leave gifts but I'm sworn to secrecy on that I'm afraid. Nancy, strangely enough I don't feel too bad about it. There was so much sadness at the time with the death of my father-in-law and the stress of selling the house and so on that it didn't register for months, by which time it was summer I was able to shrug it off and make plans to start afresh.
