    That’s like my friend who used to think god was called Peter because they always said “Thanks Peter god” in her church…

    I always liked a similar one about a cross-eyed bear called Gladly.

    Yes, the song was “Gladly, the cross I’d bear”…

    Oh, and as for it being a regular list – check out Private Eye, it’s been doing these for ages now…

    When my brother in law was a kid, he thought it was “Harold be thy name”…his name is (you guessed it) Harold! Makes more sense than the hallowed thing anyway!
