No, we won’t quite go there. Your task is to choose a blog or two you read regularly and write a limerick to describe each. Will the blog owners be able to identify themselves before someone else does?

If anyone wants me, I’ll be away scribbling limericks.

It’s International Weblogger’s Day. An opportunity to celebrate the freedom we have to write pretty much what we want, when we want.

As a firm believer in the old adage, “never mind the quality, feel the width”, I’ve gone for number of links rather than quality of prose in this ‘ere blogtale.

Which implies that I could have gone for quality of prose, which is patently untrue. Okay, hands up, I just rambled on and on, throwing links in wherever possible.

Apologies to all those I couldn’t manage to squeeze in - maybe I’ll have a go at Part II…

Inspired by Anne’s post at Blogliners and Fi’s recent flight of fancy, I’m going to try my hand at blogtaling tonight. Assuming I get this [bleeping, bleepity bleep bleep] project off my hands at some stage.

What do you get when you combine the creative talents of Anne and Taz with the all round silliness of another blogger?

We’ve all had days when we’re staring at a blank screen thinking “What the heck can I post about today?. The plan is to add an idea a day, starting this very day and gradually build up an archive of ideas to fall back on when the muse buggers off down the pub for a gin and tonic and you’re left bereft and postless.

So what’s the first idea I hear you cry?

Monday’s child is fair of face, Write a blog entry about the characteristics ascribed to you by your birth-day of the week. On target? Or way off base?
